Erin Levy

Erin Levy HeadshotI am Erin Levy – lawyer, mom to three kids, wife to a cardiologist, and a truly enthusiastic golfer (who is thrilled to break 100). I love to hike, cook, do hot yoga, and explore new places with my family.

Representing clients and getting to know them through their stories is the best part of this job. I am honored to do this type of work and give families the same sense of control and peace that Wills and Wellness gave to my family during one of the most trying times in our lives. I look forward to meeting you and doing the same for your family.

My background

I graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010 and started my own criminal defense practice in Chicago, Illinois. As a solo practitioner, I represented clients in every kind of criminal case imaginable – from traffic tickets to double homicide. I even argued before the Illinois Appellate Court two weeks before the birth of my first child. I later joined the Law of Office of Thomas Needham where we represented the wrongfully convicted in addition to criminal defendants. When my family moved to Colorado, I joined the Aurora Municipal Public Defenders Office where I tried 17 jury trials in a single year and represented our office in Aurora’s Mental Health Court.

My purpose

I am proud to work with a team of whip-smart women who lead with empathy and caring. In 2021 I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and was hospitalized for several months for chemo and a bone marrow transplant that ultimately saved my life. I met Kim and Leona from Wills and Wellness when my husband and I sat down to “get our affairs in order”. They could not have been more kind, compassionate, understanding, and humorous. They made what could have been a scary process feel comfortable and relaxed. I will never forget signing our final trust documents remotely from my hospital room while hooked up to an IV. Two years later, healthy and happy, I joined Wills and Wellness with renewed purpose to help families plan for their futures.
